I never imagined that a routine medical scan would end up saving my life. My wife made the appointment with Elite Medical Imaging at our church, and I received word about a mass on my kidney- possible “Renal Cell Carcinoma”. Those words didn’t sit lightly with us. Further testing confirmed the diagnosis and because of early detection, they were able to do surgery, remove the affected portion of my kidney leaving me with a very positive prognosis. If it weren’t for that scan, this could have turned out very differently. NO symptoms, NO pain, yet there it was. It has been nearly a year now, and all subsequent scans have been great! I am thankful to God, my family and Elite Medical Imaging! I will forever get these annual scans without hesitation and encourage everyone I know to do the same.
